THE 2007 BEAUDESERT COUNTRY & HORSE FESTIVAL
2007 QUEENSLAND OPEN BUSH POETRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

To be held at the Woodhill Hall, Mt.Lindesay H'way, Woodhill Q - 9.10.11th June 07
(Campsites available at venue - $15 per site for week-end)


Saturday - 9th

    SATURDAY, 9th
    BONZA BUSH BASH (CONCERT) - 7.30 pm Admission $15 pp. Supper of soup and damper served.


    Featuring Noel Stallard (2003 Aust Champion), Carol Heuchan (2007 Poet of the Year and 2007 Aust. Lady Champion, Glenny Palmer (2 times Aust.Lady Champion), that larrikin of Bush Verse Ray Essery - The Mullumbimby Bloke and Award Winning Country Music Artist - Fay Janson.
    Because seating is limited, bookings are essential (booking details below).

     

Sunday - 10th

    CAMPFIRE - 6pm. - Admission $7.00 Adults, $3.50 Students - Bushmans Stew and Damper included in price.
    Presentation of Finalists in Students Written Competition, Poets Brawl (1 minute competition) and Walk Up Poetry and Yarns. Bookings Essential (see below)

     


Monday - 11th
    8.30am Brekkie on Sale Walk Up Poetry

    9am COMPETITION CONCLUDES Open Male Contemporary

PRESENTATION OF PERFORMANCE, WRITTEN AND CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

12 noon CLOSE
