It's amazing the work done in the past just by sheer muscle power of the horses.
You have worked in a few really good lines which show more than tell, good strong images that are perfect for the theme I think. Lines like...the drivers up high on the box..polish on leather...flared nostrils...loose chains clattering ( particularly good ) ..blade of the slaughterman's knife ( sad but reality )
