Well it's different, I reckon it works.  It's rather clever in its way although I reckon some of the descriptions are perhaps less that totally accurate but I get the meaning well enough.  Do we have gloaming in Australia?  Well I suppose it is just another word for dusk or twilight isn't it, so I suppose we do.  It has rather a Robbie Burns - the Scot -  feel to it.
Anyway having a go is what it is all about and keeping the muse going and it makes a lot more sense than some of the free verse stuff I've been reading lately.  Good on you Marty I can always count on your support.
