Homework My Favourite Ride

Post by Bob Pacey » Sat Oct 08, 2022 9:54 am

My Favourite Ride.

Riding down the pathway
Over rough rocks do I bound.
Bumping into sticks and branches
Even soggy boggy ground.

Really don’t now why I do this
Takes a lot of skill ya know
Always loved the brush with nature
Little things that make me glow.

Any time I’m out here in the bush
Never seem to have a care.
Puts my life into perspective
And can really clear the air.

Can’t make it up this big hill
Every muscle needs to push.
Yahoo I bloody made it.

( Just To Finish Off The Verse )

I love it out here in the bush.

Good on you Bob,
At least you didn't "make a leap of Twenty Feet into the Deadmans Creek!"
Cheers

This is lovely, Bob. "Little things that make me glow" - very relatable. It's the simple pleasures in life that are the best and being out in nature certainly brings perspective.

Yeah, excellent I reckon Bob.
Also, good to see helping to keep our struggling little homework group alive.

Oh well done, Bob!

I've been locked into thinking the acrostic has to relate to the meaning of my name - but you've just opened up a whole raft of possibilities. Good on you!

Cheers
