				Can't find David's thread about reading v's reciting. A very interesting thread that I have been following, but it seems to have disappeared. Is it just my computer connection playing up?

				..which prompts me to say..
If you were really going mad, would you know it? In this case the 'you ' is a person in general, not anyone in particular. Perhaps, Her Majesty would say "If one was going mad, would one know it?"  But you get my drift.

				Zondrae, unfortunately many people who are "going mad," as you put it, do know they are not well and this often makes their illness more severe.
I once heard someone remark that being half mad was far worse than being completely mad.
