ABPA - Australian Bush Poets Association

It seem that our members are experiencing a hot streak of form at the moment.
I picked up my mail earlier this week and found that my poem, 'Beyond The Rabbit Fence',
had won the Lambing flat written bush poetry comp. I also noticed that David had a joint second in the free verse section.

This followed a couple of good weeks for me, as I had also earlier won the W.A. written state championship.
Better go and buy a lotto ticket.

Thanks, all...and well done, Terry! This was an interesting competition. It was only advertised as "Poetry", meaning that they'd accept any form of verse, but they had so many rhyming entries that they decided to create a separate section for them. Which is encouraging news!
