G'day All

Words were supplied to Glenny, but removed from here in the forum due to copyright concerns. A web link with the words has since come to light on archive.org from Frank Daniel's old website for those who would like the words:

Muttaburrasaurus

Is this it

The Muttaburrasaurus

The Muttaburrasaurus was the very nosiest dinosaur,

that ever walked Australia and stomped along our shore.

Every time another dinosaur began to chew its food,

Muttaburrasaurus would butt in and be extremely rude!

‘What have you got to eat today, Allosaurus? he asked one day,

‘Just another dinosaur,’ Ally answered, just in play.

But Muttaburra went really pale, and ran from the filthy lair

of that terrible, revolting, Cretacious eater extraordinaire!

Still hungry, he went paddling in the warm shallow sea,

nibbling on little sea shells, which was all there was for free.

‘I really am fed up with shells’, Muttaburra sadly thought.

If he had been more content he would never have been caught!

Kronosaurus Queenslandicus searched for his dinnersaurus,

when he spied the birdy feet of our silly Muttasaurus.

‘These are not my usual supper, but they seem a juicy pair!’

Oh that terrible, revolting, Cretacious eater extraordinaire!

So the terror of those ancient seas opened his hideous jaws,

to take a bite of Muttaburra with teeth that looked like saws,

but Muttaburra spotted him and danced away quite fast,

though his tail dipped into the sea as Krono slithered past.

And he nipped that tasty morsel, with his terrible teeth,

taking just a chunk of dino tail from downright underneath.

So Krono got his nibble and Muttaburra got a scare,

Oh that terrible, revolting, Cretacious eater extraordinare!

So Glenny were you part of Anna Bligh's entourage today at Theodore or was that just coincidental??????

Looked for you on the TV footage at the school but didn't see you and do hope you were not going to call Anna a Muttaburrasaurus - she may well have become confused. ;)

Dunno about confused, Maureen . . . but I reckon Anna maybe soon with the other Saurian relics - in the land of extinction.
