Lovely to hear that good old fashioned entertainment was well received. Once again you've taken me back to some wonderful memories - I'm starting to sound like an old person, "I remember when I was a girl ...."

Yair I know that one, one of of the occupational hazards of the bush poet I'm afraid.
There was a bloke in the US, used to fire a a gun in the air, get's people's attention real good... :lol: ( not really recommended )

Sounds like a great night. The theatrical society sounds like a better chance for poetry performance, good wishes for that.

I did wonder how the 200 hundred people at the Laggan Hall managed in the meantime until their toilet block is built....don't answer that. :)
