Henry's going bush

Post by Henry Snicklesnorter » Sat Nov 19, 2011 4:46 pm

Just got a phone call from an old mate, - wants me to go and operate some earthmoving gear for him.
It will be out the back of Meekatharra so I'll have no internet or phone contact. Could be weeks ..... or months, so you won't see anything from me for a while.

I'll drop by when I can. :D

See ya when we see ya Henry, I was wondering if you might consider changeing your name by deed pole while you are away, not comfortable with Henry Snicklesnorter.

I think Harry might be a better name ????

Gday everyone, - got a reprieve for a day, - will be heading off monday morning.

Jim, Meekatharra is only about 760km NNE of Perth. Station country. Good people. Good country if/when it rains. Hard when it doesn't. I'll be northeast of there.

Bob, funny you should say Harry, that's part of an old joke I heard 50 years ago, where I picked up the name Henry Snicklesnorter.
Briefly, Harry Snicklesnorter was courting a lass and asked him to marry him. She agreed, on the proviso that he changed his name, saying she wasn't going to be known as Mrs Harry Snicklesnorter.
He asked her what she had in mind, she said anything but that, - surprise me.
So he changed from Harry to Henry.

Congratulations to all who had success on the weekend. :)
