State Library Poetry Slam
Did anyone enter the Poetry Slam this year ? I know Greg North made the finals in 2009 so we reallyneed to Slam the Slammers in 2011.
The purpose in life is to have fun.

I believe Geoff Graham was in it this year and Greg too. Other than that I didn't even hear when our local heat was on.

No Bob, it doesn't hold a lot of Kudos amongst Bush Poets. Too much 'Modern' Poetry, language and other content not conducive to our form of Poetry. I performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival once and would never go back. Leave that style for those who want to be extreme, I say.
