Re: Expressions of interest

Just got an email from Dave re poetry events in Central Qld while he's in the area - Bouldy is on 22nd May, so that's too late for you Dave, and the Wintermoon Festival is on 28 April to 2 May so that's too early for you, pity you weren't travelling north to south. I also posted info on the Boondooma Festival in events.

Sorry Marty, I'll get out of the way now ...

G'day all,

I,ve been away. What is the deal? Who is running this show?
Will there be any charge? Do we have to camp? if so on private property or a caravan park? Bring tents etc?
What about catering? More info please.

Workshops etc still have to be structured or nothing gets done. What will be the topics?

I'll be there!

My doctors and the Mrs willing! Actually, I am not going to ask any of the aforementioned. Sounds like a real plan to be unstructered for a poetry weekend.

I think it's time I took up drinking again anyway. :D

September 28th has been claimed as the date for the performance competition at Harden NSW.
I wouldn't like to see a clash with this date as both areas are well within travelling distance for so many of our poets.

More later,
Joe

if your poi’ing skills are flaggin’ you could brush them up at Laggan
where your mates could all admire ‘em ‘fore you flash yourself at Harden.
But if you get into the whisky and perchance it makes your frisky
thinks could get a little risqué and you know that could be risky.

You could do some naked po’ing. Do you know if Muzzas going?
Is accommodation separate? Can’t be seen too’ing and fro’ing.
Though I doubt neighbours are caring – do they think ‘bloody’ is swearing
Oh they’re nice not overbearing!! Well I doubt anyone’s caring.

You’ve a weekend so exciting – your po’ing friends you’re inviting,
have you water there for showers? ( else they’ll all be on the nose.)
A September symposium of our group - thank God you knows ‘em
sounds a wonderful idea Mate – Roadkill suppers I suppose?

Oh it all sounds like such good fun   sigh
