Where's your umbrella Zondrae.

How are you surviving in the big wet Zondrae. I hope that big hill at the back of Tarrawanna doesn't get soaked and start sliding down towards the sea.

G'day Neville,

No problems so far. We are on a bit of a hill about 4 metres above sea level. One daughter is much closer to the beach, being only about a city block from the sand dunes. The other daughter lives the other side of the highway, on the hill behind the Catholic Church. It is a not a 'slip' area. We have had more than a months usual rain in just two days. I'll need flippers to go to the shop tomorrow if it doesn't stop overnight. And the garden is getting out of hand.

About to put my head down and get some sleep. Plan a writing day tomorrow. Thanks for the concern.

You could do another poem about the rain Zondrae :) or the creature down the swamp getting washed away

My daughter and her husband live down towards Albion Park, they got a fair drenching there but they are high enough to miss the flooding.

G'day Neville and everone else too,

GLUP.. GLUP. It HAS been raining down my way. We have had more than a months rainfall in 48 hours.

Did you hear that Oak Flats had 250mm in 24 hours.
We had 95mm over night. But today the sun is out and I've been gathering up snails from everywhere.

Also a big blob of Frog spawn for my new frog pond. I will share them/it/some with my friend, whose last batch I found for her, have already hopped away.

I have just heard my first Bull-Bull of the season. I'm going outside to have a better look around before the heat/humidity sets in.

Neville, I have done another rain one (but it doesn't rhyme) I may post it later today..

afternoon,

Gee Neville, my memory is going. That other rain poem does rhyme. But it has a different rhyming pattern. I knew there was something odd about it. I'll stick it on. I'll be interested in any comments.

We have sunshine and sunshine and dust and dust ad infinitum.

30.02mm of rain since Dec 2010 were going to Qld in a couple of weeks to take some photos.

TTFN 8-)
I Keep Trying

Maybe when you go home from QLD you can take the rain with you Dave.
