Kymmie, no offence but I'd rather have a Turkish Delight! I'd heard a man from the bureau of meterology on the radio one day and he explained how fog formed. I couldn't quite remember it so did a bit of a google. Science being my background I have an inquisitive mind and like to know the answers. Be even better if I could remember them!

Kym it's your poem and if you say it's mist, it's mist. Mist sounds so much more romantic than fog.

Dave I can be wrong but I'd never admit it! Therefore, never wrong. ;)

I'm off to my 2 year old birthday party today. Yippee, fairy bread!

Heather :)

G/Day Ross
I wondered if some one would pick up on that, he has some sort of degeneration of the colour cells of the retina and is legally blind, he has small patches he can see through and has to wear sun glasses four times darker than normal, at the pictures in the dark he can see the screen (weird) but can not read any writing. I’m half deaf so we have a good time at the movies I tell him what’s happening and he tells me what they are saying, neat aye, unless you are sitting behind us we get told to shut up pretty often.

Kym Thanks for the award, I’m going to wear It with pride.

Kym, Fog is used in poems about a dog, whereas Mist is used in poems about being........abut drinking too much grog (although grog can also be used in a poem about Fog)

Hope this helps.

Dave, does your friend have macular degeneration? My mum-in-law has that and reckons she can't see, but she still can drive  and she can still point out my grey hairs :? !!! So you're half deaf, hey? I'LL SPEAK UP THEN ... My hubbie and I were in town for lunch yesterday and I saw a sign "Hearing Tests Here", so I told him about it. He went "What??? I can't hear you" and of course I repeated it. Stupid me. I said to him, "We've been married 26 years, you need to get some new jokes" and he says "Why, these are still working"!

Heather, Turkish Delight it is! I should have remembered, sorry.

Nah Neil, that wot you're referring to is an altogether different kind of vision impediment. You're talking about a haze (drunken haze). Either blurred vision from bending the elbow too often or looking through the bottom of an empty glass. That's HAZE, not mist or fog (even though they rhyme well with your given activity). No caramello for you.

A pensioner couple sitting in the doctor's surgery. She leans over to him and whispers in his ear, "I just did a silent fart, what should I do?"
"Get new batteries for your heraring aid" he replied ... :D
