... and Jenny Markwell,

Our new NSW Champion reciter on the front and back and Peter Mace in there too.

There is also a photo of David Meyers and an ad for the collection of his poems that has been put together by his long time friends.
If there is anyone out there who has a copy of his ride on lawn mower poem, please get in touch with me. I would love to have a copy. So far no one can find it. It is a cracker about a bloke who decides to avoid getting caught DUA so he takes his ride-on to the pub. The resulting trip home, via the cemetary and the bowling club, and several other 'lawns' is an absolute gem of a humorous poem.

I have completed my poem about a couple of my memories of David. It's not perfect but I'll post it anyway.

Neville you are so kind  but I strongly suggest your glasses perhaps need just a little adjustment   PIN UP girl??? well I dare say that if you have an outside loo of the old thunderbox type design then it would be an apt description, but having said that I feel honoured to be mixing with such great company...there were some outstanding poems and articles in this issue I thought, and some good photos of our ABPA mates

Well done everyone and thanks Frank for putting together such a great issue.

Cheers

Maureen
