Yes Dave she has really taken to poetry. Loves the challenge and really enjoys the banter on the site. The new book is taking its toll on the inspiration though. I ain't bad in the kitchen myself and have had a bit of practise lately.

Bob I think I need a job that keeps me in the warmth year round. I reckon 8 months in Queensland and 4 months in Tasmania would suit me fine. I will have to figure that one out. Surely poetry has more pull than pokies? Why pay more tax than you have to? Heather raved about the Saturday night entertainment. It must have been pretty good. Take care mate. Glad to see you figured out the middle name.

Oh watched all the Saturday show it was just the day schedule that got to me. i'm not the most patient person at the best of times.

Most of the park residents now are here until september and they have their own little groups for lawn bowls and golf.

We raised about $ 350.00 for the McGrath foundation the other night with a golf day and sausage sizzle at night.

I've just spent a week end in a very posh resort - if you don't mind in the Yarra Valley near Yarra Glen with the most amazing women imaginable. It was a workshop/retreat for women who have had some sort of leadership role after the Black Saturday bushfires. Women from nearly all regions and who undertook and are still undertaking all sorts of roles.

There were motivational speakers and life coaches, lots of food, some pampering, more food, drumming lessons (cool, really cool), wonder women undies to wear on your head or outside your clothes - or where ever, sparklers, cutting and pasting (fun, lots of fun), some more food and lots of hugs. Then, lots of singing "Always Look on the Right Side of Life" which got louder and more boisterous each time it was sung, food, hugs, tears, food, and lots and lots of laughter.

Home exhausted, motivated, not so hungry, and dangerous!

Guess it was a good weekend!
