The group is called the "Flameingoes" - a bit of black humour from a group of ladies who (most) lost their homes in the bushfire. We are constantly being amazed at the kindess of people - still. When I went to Bungendore in February I stayed with a friend who lives on a farm near there. My friend, who I only met last year on a holiday, bought and posted about 12 beautiful flamingo brooches to give the ladies as a gift (you can see mine in the photo). There are some really beautiful, giving people in this world.
