Not so lucky

While Heather was able to post a success story about a rescued little bird we were in the paddock across the road holding a small funeral. I will explain.
About lunch time we heard two Magpies out the front of our house carolling to each other and went out to watch, as it was lightly raining we stayed on our front veranda to watch these two Maggies having fun calling to each other and playing chasey round the top of the power pole when one of them tried to land on the switch gear, yes there was a two loud bangs followed by lots of crackles and fizzes and our power went of for two hours. The sad thing was watching maggie number two sitting back and calling the mate who wasn't playing anymore.
So a small funeral in the paddock across the road.
