Silly moment
Silly moment
Had one of those moments today. Had to go out so put the dogs away, grabbed hand bag, glasses etc and headed for the door. Got to the car and realised I didn't have my car keys or house keys. That's ok though because there is a spare key hidden for such occasions. B****** teenager has taken the key to school with her. That can't be a good thing. Scout around the house and find a window open JUST enough to get my hand in. With trouble, push screen off and open window thinking "I'm never going to fit in there." But, where there's a will there's a way. Got in the window. Find keys on kitchen bench. Depart via the front door to find I hadn't locked it in the first place!

Re: Silly moment
Twenty Dave, twenty.
It's just lucky I wasn't running late for my appointment and luckier still I have a sense of humour. And probably really, really lucky I'm built like a stick insect!
And because I'm such a silly silly girl, I locked the door from the outside and climbed back through the window and sat at home and watched re-runs of the Bold and the Beautiful and ate lots of chocolate with my hair still in curlers (dressed in my trakkies) till the kids came home ...
