Just got a Highly Commended in the Tibooburra Cornor Country Poetry in Motion Festival.

The results have been out for weeks now Marty and it looked like no one was gonna notice so a bit of self promo from such a shy fella as me will never go astray.

Congratulations Bob,
I remember what it feels like to open an envelope and find you have an award. So exciting and satisfying. It also lets you know that you are not wasting time and energy. (and paper) So well done and keep at it.
It has been a while since I have had that feeling. It seems that, either I have lost it, or I have changed my style and it is not what the present judges are looking for. So I'll stop trying to write, what I think is a prize winning poem and just write whatever I feel like. You seem to be producing the goods so keep at it. Good on you.
