Ducked in a water trough I get...not very hygienic for the horses ....but what the hell is cow hided???? Peek a boo around the dairy perhaps?? Made to dress up in a cow costume??? Did they mean flogged ?... most likely but wouldn't a cow hide be a tad heavy and unwieldy
