G'day all, a few weeks back I sent an email to Pixie Jenkins, for those of you who don't know him, he is the fiddle player in John Williamsons back up band & the best fiddle player in Oz, He also has his own Sunday morning radio show, well I mentioned in my email about my new book & he actually emailed back, I won't go into detail on what was said but I ended up sending him a copy of my book, you wouldn't believe it, but today while I was at work Pixie rang me & wanted to do a pre-recorded interview to be played on his Christmas morning show we talked about all about the book & he said he loved my Captain Reg. Saunders poem & will read it on air after the interview whoooooHooooo!! he is on 98.9 FM.

Excellent Dave - happy for you and beaut that 'Reg' is going to air - it will make people sit up and take notice, and for those of you who don't know 98.9 FM is a Brisbane indigenous radio station that plays the best country music and is always willing to give new artists a go. The interviews they do on there are always really interesting and they also give lots of young people training in radio techniques. A very community minded station with listeners right across Australia...98.9 is my Radio Station.....LOVE IT
