The dreadful lurgy raises its ugly head again
From Adelaide to Collie it caught the flaming plane
Then entered my computer though the camera iris
And have travelled east to Heather on a putta virus
So watch out all you poets who like to write in verse
Make sure you’ve got your filters on or you might catch the curse
I’ll give you a warning and really do take heed
If you catch these computer lurgy lots of Panadol you’ll need

Re: The Putta Lurgy
"To late" she cried. "To late" she cried
"I think I've gone and got it"......
For I'm coughing and I'm sneezing
and my voice has started wheezing
and my thirst I'm not appeasing,
though there's water everywhere.
And I need a box of tissues
though it's not because I miss youse
but I need to stop my attishus
from flying through the air.
Now the chemist has my money.
I'm sipping lemon and honey
and see nothing at all funny -
this is more than I can bear.
But I'm tough - 'cause I'm an Aussie
and I wear my swimming cossie
in the endless rain, that's possy
bly why I am crook - I swear.

You're a champion Dave! Lots of panadol and lots of rest. My head feels like it's been hit by a baseball bat.
Dare I say we could use a little rain here now to water the garden! Funny 'ol weather we're having.
