Thanks Matt, yeah Grandad's Purple Donkey got a HC, but I don't want to post it yet, cos that may eliminate it from some comps in the future. Not sure if being on a forum constitutes being "published" or not, so I won't just in case. To me, "published" means printed and bound and for sale, but perhaps others interpret it as being publicly accessible to read, which means the forum. Maybe it's so that judges can't read it and be swayed when they see it in a comp????? But then, once a judge has read the title, they will recognise it when it comes through anyway ... so I dunno.

Happy Birthday Kym, and congratulations on the Golden wattle (I heard you may have got a couple of awards- is that right?)
It's a tricky one isn't it about whether posting on this site constitutes being published or not. I agree entirely with your thoughts on the subject, but like you I wont post anything in the future that I might want to enter into a comp. Mind you I have in the past (as have others) and some have gone on to win awards.

Cheers Terry
