Works for me - as for the serenity, well it's still for sale. They've dropped the price on the original 'Bonnie Doon' and check out view 8 - what magnificent edifices they are

Niiiice - the retro dining room suite on its own would fetch a few hundred on ebay - used to have one just like that.

Cheers

4 hours to travel to work :o are you a masochist ? I s'pose it's not too bad if it's not through the bumper to bumper commuter traffic , is it ??

Those eagles are magnificent creatures Marty, wait till one latches onto your arm with its talons you'll know it :)

Neville 4 hours country driving is not even remotely like 4 hours city driving it is not even as bad as 1 hour city driving.

It gives you time to look around and contemplate, work out what you are going to do tomorrow - sing out loud, see what your neighbours been planting and if the bloke putting up a shed down the road is progressing with it. You can see that Fred has bought some new cattle and it looks like Tim is planting Snow peas this season. The bloke on the highway must have had a win at Lotto he's got a new tractor and you can listen to the saleyard prices on the radio and decide if the price is good enough to offload a few old steers.

You don't have to worry about other idiot drivers 'cause there aren't many and you know what the roos are going to do so you take all of that into account but all in all it is pretty stress free driving - unless you get a flat - that's a bugger. You know where all the potholes and washouts are - they don't sneak up on you overnight like they do in the city. You can also spot where the blossom is if you have bees - and a good spot to put your hives and take note of that tree that is down along the road - could be good for firewood, take the chainsaw next time you go to town and the Ute.

But mind you your finger can get a bit tired by the time you get home from lifting it up and down on the steering wheel to say G'day to neighbours and friends you pass on the way but it is not the rude gesture beloved by city drivers.

It's not bad actually - I hate driving here but used to rather like it when we lived out of town.

Cheers
