Flying up to the Ashburton tomorrow for a couple of days;
It's going to be a bit hot, but I'm really looking forward to visiting the old camp again.
There's something about that country that seems to keep calling you back- must be the flies or something.

Take lots of photos in your head Terry and enjoy your special piece of earth. I suspect it's the "Something"

Hi Heather took one photo with the camera
Marty
A combination of the warmer weather and a couple of anti-inflammatory pills worked wonders (for awhile anyway)
It was great to visit the old camp at Cripple Creek again (guess it's kind of living up to it's name at the moment)
And guess what - no flies - unbelievable.

What's the theory on the 'no flies' situation (in rhyming couplets please

)

Marty your a hard taskmaster but I'll do my best.
Not too sure why there’s no flies perhaps they all just ups and dies?
Could’ve been big rain one day with floods that washed them all away!
Whatever the reason I'm grateful.

Dirt and dust flies and sun bet you were glad to get a little back into the blood Terry.
When I'm stressed I go fishing and tell the kids I'm going to get a bit of salt water back in my blood. same thing I reckon.
Thanks mate
Bob
