There's water, water everywhere but not the kind you drink.
The roads are cut the bridges out; it's causing quite a stink.
I've never seen it rain so much it's playing on me brain.
I'm sick of cleaning up the muck it's driving me insane.
BP

The kids are wet, the dog is wet, green mould begins to flourish.
The grass grows inches every day. The water seems to nourish
most everything that grows it seems though deep in mud we’re sinking
the BOM map on the ‘puter shows the cloud mass isn’t shrinking
MKC

And so it pours , like "cats and dogs", though neither seem to care,
our tabby hasn't left the lounge, she's taken refuge there,
and out the back the old lab lies his cares are all but few,
that some one stops to have a chat and leaves a treat or two.
Sue P

I'm sick of hearing pitter patter as rain pours on me roof
I'm thinking now of lining it to make the lot soundproof.
The back yard is going mouldy the dogs buisness is all soggy
No one's game to pick them up those presents from my doggy.
BP

In some parts of Australia, they look out on cloudless sky -
the only words that they can say, "By George it's keeping dry."
All hope they have is very quickly sinking down the drain -
their problems soon would cease if I could send them down some rain.
JP

Yes, that's it John- we'll build a drain to let the water through
we'll gather up the unemployed and cut the jobless queue
we'll build a drain to fill the dams, the creeks and rivers too
so lets get started right away and make this dream come true.
Sue P

I'll guarantee my share to give and bugger carbon taxes
and don't lets clog the 'puter up with confirmation faxes,
my words my bond I'll give my all, down pipelines it can fly
and in exchange would someone send a little bit of dry
MKC

Sunday flaming morning and the rain still tumbles down
Ten buckets full I've emptied it's all a smelly mucky brown.
My Driza-Bones gone mouldy and my chooks are off the lay
I wish I had not saved so much for a bloody rainy day.

Bob I'm over it

You’re over it? We’re over it!!! The whole state is awash
me feet are going pruney from my squeegeeing by gosh.
The two dogs are both pongy and there’s green mould on me walls
What bastard let the water out??? I’ll hang him by the b…………races
MKC

I tried to mow the other day while the sun it tried to shine
but the mower chucked a fancy fit the stinking mongrel swine.
I poked it and I prodded it but it coughed and would not start
I pulled the cord so hard it broke and I let out this roaring ( any suggestions )

The spark from off the motor ignited all the fumes and then
it singed me poor old kelpies hair I hope it grows back agin.
I managed to mow just a strip down the middle of the yard
Then I tried to put new blades on, well it didn't look that hard.
