Hi everyone. A little about BEDE TONGS

Now BEDE TONGS is a long serving member of the Queanbeyan Bush Poets who were under the leadership of the Late Dave Myers now Laurie McDonald who is now our leader
BEDE TONGS was a solder who many of you would not know is a recipicant of the MM medal
And has been fortunate enough to have been introduced to many high official dignitaries including the Duke of Edinburgh and has been directly responsible for many treks over the Kokoda track by junior students through out the world.
These are his poems though they are not of ABPA standards they are good never the less

Meet the inspirational 91 year old Kokoda Track veteran Bede Tongs on Monday night as he returns to Kokoda with a new generation of Australians making a difference to remote villages along the track.
