Harpers Bizarre

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Tue Jan 27, 2015 8:44 am

I've just returned from Newstead Live!

One of the most spectacular images of the festival was the five harps of "Harpers Bizarre", led by Andy Rigby, playing at the Dig cafe.

Very clever name - must have been amazing to hear them. I've sometimes wished I'd learnt to play this instrument years ago, but my piano is hard enough to move every few years, let alone a harp as well!

Yes, that is the advantage of being a poet. My voice and my right hand seem to follow me automatically wherever I go.
