World is growing older – right before my eyes,
and there are songs I want to sing before the music dies.
And there are places I’ve still got to be,
to hear the band play rock and roll one time for me.

They say that life is for the young. I know just what they mean.
But life don’t owe you nothing. It can rain on every dream.
So turn the music up real loud and strong,
and listen close here comes the band with one more song.

Love this Wazza! I can totally relate, as I believe life would be very sad indeed without music and poetry - plus I do love my rock and roll! Really well done, and I'd love to hear it some time!

Thanks Catherine. I don't have it recorded but might be able to do something about that. It's a song I used to do with a group I worked with for many years.
