Re: MIRTH
OK Heather will you hear my confession? Please.
I am sorry to say I had not read this poem of yours til tonight. For this I am sorry. Sometimes I have other things that distract me and I skip over some of the poems that are posted. I must have lost out on so many experiences by simple clicking on "Mark forums read". I'll try not to do it in future.
I have already been given a penance (punishment) and that was not having enjoyed the poem before.
(end of semi-religious, mildly funny, but really serious bit)
You have captured the feel of the magic that we poets see. I often wonder how some people can charge through life and miss the beauty and the wonder that is all around us. (you should have seen the butterflys we saw around Mackay) I can see you have chosen each word with loving care so that it is exactly what you meant to say. Well done.

Re: MIRTH
Zondrae you don't need to say sorry.
I am glad that you can see it too. You've made me smile!
I've always been one to observe and take notice of the beautiful things in nature - they are the things that make it worth being alive!
Talking of butterflies, we have had millions of them this year. A few weeks ago, everywhere you looked there were butterflies - in the grass, in the sky, the trees - it was so beautiful.
