I caught part of the bush poetry segment on the radio yesterday - congrats to Brenda Joy for winning a second weekly prize, I didn't hear her poem but apparently it is written with the rhyming pattern AAAA (sounds like just a really really small battery ). I'll have to get on the blog and have a read. Goodonya Brenda!

They also mentioned one of Bob Pacey's poems - about a traffic controller?? Reckoned it was a good'un - 'cept the metre was out of wack. The judge was very positive and perceptive though, he knew Bob was a performance poet and that the poem, when recited from the authors lips would be even better than it was off the page.

Thanks Marty ! one of my poems with the metre out of wack how unusual, got given a stop go sign last week and it sort of makes the poem. With all the roadworks on at the moment it went over a cracker at the first campfire for the season.
