Bush Poets in the Park
Anything for a morning lark.
A cooked breakfast under trees
On a plate, or on ya’ knees.
The tucker box dog – what a bark!
He’s in for this, wouldn’t miss

Denleigh Stenzel, along with a group of fellow poets will be entertain you, as well as performances by established poets whose feet are firmly in the Oz-bush / ballad genre, Denleigh is making a call for walk up poets and reciters of poems to put their name forward. The Black Snake Creek Festival Committee have a special interest in encouraging young performers to step up and have a go. If you are interested in performing publicly please phone Greg on 0428-328-930.

Conducted by the Marburg and District Residents Association and the Black Snake Creek Festival Committee, Poets in the Park is today a major lead-up to the Festival itself which will again bring Marburg to life on the second weekend in October. Poets in the Park remains a Festival event, reminding everyone of the forthcoming season and whetting the public appetite for the Festival in October.
