Gosh you lot deviate from the original subject that I am responding to, so if it doesn't make sense to you, sort it!
ELiza
Satirical, Historical or hysterical?
It is the humour that arises from each situation
That helps us cope with what we cannot change.
We can learn from earlier times and government confrontation
But this government knows the best way to rearrange.
Doesn't it?
The arrival of the people from across the seas and oceans
To our shores; it will turn them round; out of sight and out of mind.
Someone else's problem, no need or cause commotion
Why, they will be safe, housed with people of their own kind.
Won't they?

G/Day Bill I still have a green river skinning knife I purchased when I was about 21 and we were killing our own meat as you did back in those days, it now lives in my camping gear and is still used.
Hey Manfred you’re right about cats. So many cats so few recipes.

'Morning Bob,
No, not ignored because the original post was a 'little' while ago.
it was when I received a warning that the comments may have deviated from the subject.
(Well, that what you get with a deviant minds) When I saw what the topic had degenerated to, I chose to ignore it.
I happen to like and actually admire cats for their independence and personal choices of which humans are worthy of their loyalty and attention.
Like dogs in the way they empathise with their 'chosen' mate, but they do not stick around when mistreated in return.
The damage awarded and blamed on domestic felines is misplaced.
Any damages caused should be put where it belongs; with Human Beings and the mamby-pamby way they are 'slapped on the wrist for the destruction and neglect they cause.
So No I did not feel ignored, I rise above all that sort of thing!!!
Cheers, Eliza

It could be just our way of putting things in the to hard basket.
And as Frank (Joe) says only half the lies I tell are the truth.
And Leonie says, Just take most of it with a pinch of salt.

I do Dave, I do, it helps to improve the taste.

Oh, and I like cats too, but I couldn't eat a whole one.

Eating a whole one would be a bit of a cat -astrophe I think Leonie far better to stick to a simple hot dog
