Re: Goodonya Terry
Thanks everybody,
As Dave mentioned earlier we stayed at Irene and Roy's place and had a really enjoyable few days, Irene actually took some time out from her busy schedule to have a bit of a break, not that Irene ever really stops. She worked into the wee hours on Sunday night to type up the club Magazine.
I won’t go into all the individual winners as I’m sure Irene will post them if she ever gets a moment to spare. But I would like to congratulate all the other successful poets and thank everyone who participated, it was very encouraging to see the support offered by many from the forum including some of our top writers from here and from the ABPA who entered this event.
DAVE has some even more exciting news of his own to pass on, if he hasn’t already done so!
Cheers Terry

Re: Goodonya Terry
We were on tender hooks while in Cervantes as our grand daughter Cassy was about to have her second baby and at 5.30 am on Monday morn the message came (2 min apart) so we were out of bed and packing up the caravan and all our kit then a quick coffee with Irene and co then hit the road.
Home to Collie dump the van a quick shower and off to Bunbury. Looking at the new Boy by 3.30 pm. Patton Layne Pipe 6lb14oz and I don’t know how tall he is cos he can’t stand up yet.
We now have 4 great grand kids 1 girl 3 boys good hey.
Isis has a brand new baby Brother
But I think that she would rather
Have a new box of shiny toys
Surely making much less noise
Without squirting one end or the other
