Geez . . . if everything is hard, stiff and cold on an Upper Lachlan winters morning (I'm sure that's a good segue for a funny line :roll: ) . . . then give me the tropics anyday.

Let's notch one up, though, for upholding the famous tradition of bush poets sparring in the media. Good onya mate.

:lol: :lol: ..Good one Marty B, I remember how, at my grandfathers orchard in Barnawatha, we had to bash the hell out of the tank taps to break up the ice that formed overnight during the winter months. fantastic poem, but as Marty P said, give me the tropics any day mate eh!

Marty ...Accuse ??? :o . It does look like rap to me, is that bad.of course not..that's the enjoyment of poetry, people get different things out of it, hear different songs. see different
images. That's not accusation, just expression of variety of understanding.
