Dave I am truly dazzled and overwhelmed by your knowledge and perception on so many things that have such intrinsic value in today's society - however if you are standing still and your hair get's wet it could also just be that your are in the shower - the inside plumbed variety.

I must reprimand you over your statement that the colour of belly button fluff is irrelevant. Colour co ordination is ALWAYS important just ask your wife..I think it is a recognized fact that men don't get this.

Marty I worked in our shearing shed as a roustie and can't recollect EVER suffering from any kind of fluff even when I bent over to pick up the locks. I Can't speak for female truckies..my ex was a truckie before he became a sheep farmer and those blue singlets do have a lot to answer to.

Hasn't this post taken some twists and turns? Can't see the woods for the trees - must be foggy

Now Heather Fluff can mean two different things and as far as I know mine has never been blue although I have seen some stains on my undies but I thought that was just normal.


AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH just checked and the fluff in my belly button although a little soggy is " Wait For It "' BLUE !!

Oh it's all right as my work uniform shirt is blue. Had me worried for a while.

I really like the intellectual stimulation this site brings.

Maureen you have seen through to the crux of the question, in the shower very much like rain only most of the time warm. The mist being extracted by the exhaust fan. The mirror being fogged up therefore fog.

Oh wow, you lot have been busy while I've been away! 3 pages and I haven't even helped much. Goodonya's.

As Marty says, this is one of the world's great conundrums and the variety of replies testifies to that. I think I'll give the caramello prize to Dave - he was the only one who got both mist and fog in one room at the same time!!!

I also agree with Nerelie, if I ran 200m (nope that's just downright impossible), if I ran 100m (still impossible), ok, if I ever manage to get a wobble up for any distance, it would definitely be sweat, but you beat me to the punch!

After considering all the above information, there is no reason why my poem can't be in the mist. The man disputing the fact wasn't in the poem, therefore he can't determine visibility distance, or whether the said moisture is rising, suspended or falling, and there was definitely no boats going aahhooggaaa so I'm happy to leave it as mist.

Bit of a perfectionist is our Heather ... she also went to great lengths (or should I say depths) when I went with her to the Titanic exhibition in Melbourne to learn about rust and oxygen levels under water. She's a very clever girl.
