Who done it?

I wrote this to a challenge on a poetry forum years ago and found it again in a forgotten folder.
Who Done It?
Now listen lad. I’ve told you this a hundred times or more,
there are rules which simply must receive attention.
And it’s clear to me that you consider all of these a bore
and consequently just don’t rate a mention.
But I’ve a job to finish and I mean to see it through.
Though I must admit the grasp you have is fragile.
For so far, my every effort - every blessed thing I do,
makes me more convinced your brain is not too agile.
So I’ll say it once again and I hope it’s for the last,
that finally you’ve grasped the prize and won it.
Let your future grammar skills be not a mirror of the past
and you’ll remember it’s Who Did It? not Who Done It?
