TOMORROW, TODAY, YESTERDAY

I approached it with trepidation, perhaps a little hesitation
Not exactly knowing just what to expect
It was ever drawing nearer, it was becoming ever clearer
It was deserving to be treated with respect.

It arrived during the night, and by morning's golden light
It announced its intend and purpose was to stay
It seemed to want to co-exist, I was hard pressed to resist
It enveloped me in every single way

By the evening it was gone, I was feeling quite forlorn
Knowing it won't cross my path again
It showed no empathy, leaving but a memory
And a trail with no beginning, nor an end.
