A USER’S GUIDE TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Before turning the wheels, it is essential one feels
To understand the demographics
The lay of the land must simply demand
The study of current statistics
It's not rocket science, it simply requires
A mapping of cultural linguistics
Or if you would rather, combing the data
To identify important logistics
The data collected can then be subjected
To painstaking examinations
With results analysed, we then theorise
The value of all permutations
There will be of course much room for discourse
On the obvious mean deviations
And boardroom conjecture on the need for a lecture -
'Applying Quadratic Equations'
The research applied will thus be one's guide
In developing recommendations
One reaps the reward when one motions toward
Final implementations
The project success can be measured at best
By pre-determining outcomes
Of numbers attending and benefits gained in
A selection of targeted programs
For continued success one must then acquiesce
To the need for financial injection
One simply just can’t go applying for grants
Without including clear forward projections
Simple!
