The Nomad

Post by Bob Pacey » Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:15 pm

The Nomad

The darkness cleanses all his sins
as he digs for food in putrid bins.
No one knows or sees his plight
this nomad of the city night.
There but for fate myself I see
wandering dark streets aimlessly.

I like that Bob- just a few words but much between the lines. Well done.

dumster diving is quite the thing to do these days with the wastefulness that goes on. Bit different though having to do it just to get a feed because you have no other means.

Agree with Sue's comments

Goodonya Bob. Good to see you having a go. Very thoughtful. :)

Just my opinion, which may or may not be valid, but I think doing short and well thought out verse is an excellent practice. They may help as material for more substantial things, but can stand perfectly well by themselves.
