PROMPTS FOR HOMEWORK FOR W/E 24.06.13

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Jun 10, 2013 1:18 pm

These fortnights just fly by and I seem to miss the starting dates for the prompts - should start using my 'puta Calendar more efficiently.

The responses to the last set of prompts were so varied - it amazes me where peoples imagination takes them, we don't all play on the same field that is obvious nor do we all share the same mindset. That in itself is a wonderful thing and when you think about it could well be why with free verse poetry so many people really don't understand it. At least with our Bush Poetry in the main the story is clear.

Anyway the plan for the next fortnights homework is to utilize these 4 phrases AND THE CHALLENGE IS that you must use all 4 phrases. Are you up for it?? Good oh - get going then.

Fireflies reach for the sky

Hanging by a thread at the end of the day

At the midnight hour, if you listen carefully

It's complicated counting - (sheep/elephants/ goldfish, calories etc etc - make your own choice of animal/things here)

Cheers

Maureen

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
