I’m going to take a punt here and say I think the line in question is correct as written i.e.
Quote
“She made a mistake… with her shirt not "opaque"...”
The word “with” alleviates the need for “ ‘s” on the word shirt.
As for the rest of the banter “such things in front of an old bloke oh dear oh dear”
