HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 7TH SEPTEMBER 2015

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Wed Aug 26, 2015 1:43 pm

Apologies for late posting here - things are ramping up on my home front and I seem to be losing track of time completely.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the last homework exercise there was a varied number of subjects covered - our poetic minds certainly take off on different tangents. Every now and then you may notice I share a piece from here across to our FB page. Hopefully it stirs a bit of interest for people who are perhaps hesitent about writing and sharing their work. The homework page isn't judgemental - it is merely a page to put a thought into your head and get the wheels whirring and the pen po'ing because writing is like any other exercise - to be good at it you actually have to do it and we all run out of inspiration from time to time.

I am going to avail myself of Bob's help and use some prompts he suggested, especially since his suggestions have been so well received over the last couple of weeks. So here they are - go to it my poetic friends.

Flowers Rare

Ginger Crust

The Giggles

bronzed and dead

priceless master

Open Spaces

Old Dreams

Intermingled pathos

Wild Music

Cheers

Maureen

Maureen, have you noticed that the post for this week's homework prompts has not stayed "pinned" at the top? It has dropped down into the mix - might be missed by some.

Cheers, Shelley

Sorry ladies, I've had a look and haven't a clue how to do it. John always does it and he is away. You might have to work it out for yourselves this month. :) You're clever, I know you can do it.
