Well the silly season is behind us now and there is a brand new year stretching ahead with blank pages to be filled. Did you make a new years resolution? This year I am going to really make an effort to put aside all the old baggage I have been carrying for so long. I may not succeed totally but nothing ventured nothing gained. Now is the time. We can all do similar things, take baby steps to reach a goal and every little improvement is a step forward and every slip up is just a speed bump that slows us down a while - it is not a failure. We can all be a bit kinder to ourselves I reckon.
Just in case you don't realize it - you mob at ABPA are some of the nicest people and without a doubt this is one of the best sites to be a member of. It has respect, friendship, genuine caring and always willing assistance and sensible suggestions offered to other poets. There is never any disrespectfull or abusive comments made - (the odd hissy fit is nothing) and many good friendships have been forged and personal meet and greets taken place. What's not to like? In many ways we are family.
So you've had a break over Christmas - lets get back to some po'ing and sharing on the pages of OUR site. See what you can do with these prompts.
woven fantasy
in reality
head in the clouds
down to earth
desert island
brand new day
Cheers

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
