Homework W/E 29/08: Legends

Legends

© David Campbell 19/08/16

I’ve got some living legends,
they’re really pretty neat,
but I don’t call ’em legends,
to me they’re simply feet!

I’ve also got some feetends,
though any bozo knows
we shouldn’t call ’em feetends,
but piggly-wiggly toes!

When crooners start their crooning
I join right in and sing,
and let my dancing legends
and feetends do their thing.

I get that loving feeling
moon-walking back in time,
with memories of music
and Michael Jackson mime.

And when impersonators
try what my legends do,
they fall flat on their bumends,
and meet their Waterloo!

Oh my  You did make a very innovative use of the prompts David - my piggly wigglies will never recover  I hope your moon-walking attempts don't have you going A over T an landing on your bumend

Thanks Maureen, Shelley and Robyn. Trouble is, my terpsichorean tripping usually results in planting my legends on other people's feetends!

Cheers
David
