The idea for these prompts actually came to me as I was washing my Kia prior to my BIL's visit. He had spent so much time and energy detailing this car for me when it was purchased that I was ashamed of how I had neglected her - a wash and polish was long overdue and I was thinking to myself I bet KK doesn't have to do this, she probably doesn't even know what a Kia is or have to worry about minor details like the back windscreen wiper falling off - which it just did ... hopefully BIL can fix it.
A KIA CAR CONNECTION ... Maureen Clifford © The #ScribblyBark Poet
I though today I'd better give my trusty steed a wash
and polish, her paintwork was looking dim.
The number plate was hard to read
should I be booked for excess speed
the cameras would really need
extrasensory powers.
The boys in blue are out today patrolling as they do,
they keep our city streets under control.
They sometimes have back up, canine,
to deal with those folks asinine,
oxygen suckers who do crime -
a blight on our society.
If Kim Kardashian drove a Kia, that would be a hoot
her backside would make it quite a tight fit.
Diamond encrusted smart phone rings
from dashboard mount where lots of bling
sparkles and shines - Well that's her thing
overpriced and under powered.
My trusty steed is looking good, so clean, shiny and red.
A Kia Sportage - second hand not new.
No I'm not Kim Kardashian
and I confess I'm not a fan
of hers - but then again, I'm an
alliteration lover.
'Kim Kardashian drove a Kia', connected with my psyche
I couldn't quite erase if from my skull.
It kind of kept on calling out,
a crazy kooky thought no doubt
which somehow carried lots of clout -
a Kia car connection.

Oh Maureen - I just had the mental picture of KK in a diamond entrusted cocktail dress, that according to David, doesn't "jolly well fit" - teetering on her stilettos, chamois in hand, polishing the Kia!
Definitely a hallucination!
Cheers

well it would have been far prettier than the actual picture of me in tracky dacks, t shirt and red crocs standing on my tommy turtle stool to reach the roof of the darn thing over the roofracks

Love it all but particularly your tracky dacks, T-shirt, and Tommy Turtle stool. Some mental picture and beautiful alliteration!
