FEBRUARY 2025 HOMEWORK PROMPTS

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:28 am

Another month done and dusted and some beaut poems from the January prompts as well ...Well done everyone, as always you excelled. :D

Now for February this might seem a little obvious - but I reckon we can all write or share our rain poems, seeing as to how we are getting a bit, and those poor sods up in the pointy end are getting a bit more than their share at the moment, but although being flooded out is horrible and takes years (if ever) to get over, every cloud has a silver lining, although it may not be in your own pocket. All that rain is replenishing the water table underground, and I am sure that the farmers are grateful and if you ate today - thank a farmer.

So lets see what you mob can come up with - maybe taking the extra effort to perhaps show both sides of the coin as well - if you feel so inclined.

These prompts might help it along.

Build a bridge (and get over it)

The river flows at its own sweet will

Every drop counts

Natures most precious gift

Intermittent drownpours
... (not a spelling mistake folks  )

Away you go - lets see what floats your boat.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
