Oh but how quiet the house becomes Heather. You dream of being able to do what ever you want and then all of a sudden you can but it does not seem so important anymore.
I solved that just moved in with them and now I get to see my grandkids everyday.
A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that their kids will be around to see them all the time but they have their own lives to live and you have to learn to be happy with whatever time they can spare.
