Well done Marty that is lovely - and good on you for using all the prompts. I have a string of amber beads myself that were my great grandmothers - they are my link just like your orphans special keepsake.
Cheers

G'day Marty B,
When a new member joins my writing group they often say they can't write to a topic but need to have inspiration. However once they have a go they find it gets easier and easier. It will be good practice for you and then if you are ever in the position of having to compete in a one minute brawl, you'll do it easily.

Totally agree Marty and I do the same. On one other site I am on the challenge is to write a daily poem in under 30 mins and then post it warts and all-----that is also a great discipline, so you blokes are getting off light at one a fortnight.

My problem with the home work links is if I read someone elses work first, I find it hard to concentrate on my own ideas for the prompts, which is why I've only just read this Marty, well done, seems you enjoy this part of the forum as much as I.
