Homework we 15/08/11 - Orphaned
Orphans
No matter which soil they tread upon,
no matter which roads life takes them down,
no matter which nation gave them birth,
no matter the colour outward shown,
no matter the shoes they try to fill,
no matter age or male or femme
no matter their social status worn,
no matter the size or state of them....
...all socks are sometime orphaned.

Hi Owly,
I have a drawer full of orphans myself.
Very Clever!

We can all associate with this one.
Somehow the washing machine seems to eat them up.

Good one Wendy. Imaginative use of word patterns.

Ha ha ain't it the truth. One of my 'orphans' mustn't have worked out for adoption and has been returned because I found it sitting on the floor of my wardrobe this morning. Its sibling will be pleased to see it.

G'day Wendy,
That odd sock will never look the same to me. Oh I forgot, we don't have odd socks at my place.
